Next stop the horizon

Kråkeslottet Senja is a rental venue and a space for cultural events.

It is truly far out. Below the mountains, beside the wide white beach, a causeway leads out onto the small islet and pier where the old fish plant from 1899 is placed on pillars in the ocean. Next stop is the horizon.

The interior of the house is as spectacular as its surroundings. The house has gone through a 50-year-long organic transformation inspired by a consistent vision to turn it into a scene for memorable experiences and a strong community. The house contains a skippers lounge with a grand piano, a library, 17 rooms with 27 beds, 7 bathrooms and a dining room for 50 people. It has a café kitchen, an assembly kitchen with a stove and a massive dining table made from driftwood as well as a wood-fired sauna and artwork spread all around the house.

Kråkeslottet can be divided into 4 units, all with bathroom and kitchen, to make it available for smaller groups and couples, but is also suited for groups from 10 to 25 people (max 28). Kråkeslottet can be lent for various purposes; Team building, weddings, courses, family events and as camp for skiers challenging the costal mountains.

Two festivals are held at Kråkeslottet every year;

Kråkeslottfestivalen; a music festival held over a weekend in June, and ArtiJuli, an arts festival that lasts throughout the whole month of July, with exhibitions and a café open to the public every day from 12:00 – 19:00.
